- 500g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 250ml water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100g mozzarella cheese (fresh)
- 100g tomato sauce (homemade)
- Fresh basil leaves
- 50g prosciutto (optional)
Preheat the wood-fired oven to 800°F (425°C).
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, water, and olive oil until the dough forms. Let it rest for 2 hours.
Roll out the dough and spread tomato sauce evenly on top.
Add mozzarella cheese and desired toppings.
Bake in the wood-fired oven for 6-8 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil. Serve hot.
For a smokier flavor, cook the pizza closer to the wood fire.
