Ingredients
  

  • Fresh Shrimp: 1 lb, peeled and deveined
  • Whole Wheat Tortillas: 2 large
  • Lettuce: 1 cup, chopped (e.g., romaine or iceberg)
  • Tomato: 1, diced
  • Cucumber: 1, sliced
  • Red Onion: 1/4, thinly sliced
  • Tangy Dressing: 2 tbsp (e.g., vinaigrette or yogurt sauce)
  • Olive Oil: 1 tbsp
  • Salt and Pepper: to taste
  • Optional Add-ins: Avocado, bell peppers, or any preferred veggies

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Shrimp:
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then sauté for about 3-5 minutes until cooked through and pink.
  • Assemble the Wraps:
    Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.Place half of the cooked shrimp in the center of the tortilla.Add lettuce, diced tomato, cucumber slices, and red onion on top of the shrimp.Drizzle with your choice of tangy dressing.
  • Wrap It Up:
    Fold the bottom of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides.Roll tightly to form a wrap. Repeat with the second tortilla.
  • Serve:
    Slice the wraps in half if desired and enjoy immediately!

  • Shrimp Selection: Choose wild-caught shrimp for better flavor and nutrition. Fresh shrimp should have a mild scent, not a strong fishy odor.
